OneSteel uses Polymer Injection Technology (PIT) in the manufacture of many of its reinforcing products. Projects are eligible for Green Star points if sufficient quantities of material produced from PIT’s energy-reducing manufacturing process are used. The OneSteel PIT Certificate provides the data required for determination of points awarded to a project.
