By working closely with Liberty Primary Steel and a range of other suppliers, Liberty Metalcentre (formerly OneSteel Metalcentre) employs specialised processes to provide high-quality and reliable products to support the manufacturing industry’s finished components.
Through specialised mill rollings and superior processing techniques, Liberty Metalcentre is able to provide a focus on efficiencies and a reduction in waste.
Liberty Metalcentre supplies products that are compliant to relevant Australian Standards. Two Standards for structural steel – AS/NZS 1163:2009 and AS/NZS 3679.1:2010 – have been introduced to improve product quality, traceability and identification. Furthermore, as a manufacturer you can be sure of the following when you purchase from Liberty Metalcentre:
- All Liberty Metalcentre products are checked by NATA-endorsed testing laboratories
- All Liberty Metalcentre manufacturing sites have third party accreditation to Quality Management System ISO 9001 and EMS (Environmental Management System) ISO 14001.
- Liberty Metalcentre's hot rolled products are produced at mills with ACRS third party accreditation, ensuring certification for reinforcing, pre-stressing and structural steels.
