Over 100 Years in the Making
Liberty Metalcentre has a long and rich history across the country, with roots dating backing to 1901 when Lloyd & Lloyd Limited of Great Britain opened its first Australian warehouse. Through a number of acquisitions over the years, Liberty Metalcentre now encompasses some of the most recognised names in the Australian steel industry, including Stewarts & Lloyds, Tubemakers, Union Steel, Packer Bros, J Murray Moore, Alex Ross and William Adams, to name a few.
